Q: How many questions are there?

A: CFA® Level 1 has 1250+ multiple-choice questions with 2100+ terminology questions. Level II and Level III are a mix of Multiple-Choice, Item Set, and essay style questions. CPA offers more than 500+ questions per section.


Q: Why should I buy your Program when others have several thousand questions?

A: Our goal has been to provide our clients with the most effective exam preparation to get them prepared in the shortest possible time. Therefore, our philosophy has been to prune questions out rather than to dump them in. Working with a manageable number of questions that relate to that years’ updated content keeps our clients focused on what they need to know for the exam. And we have gone out of our way to provide our clients with the cleanest and most useful body of questions possible. For Example: When you take the 1,000 plus questions from the last five CFA® Level 1 Exams published by AIMR, cut out all duplicates and then set aside all of the remaining questions which are based upon Readings which are no longer required in 2004, you are left with fewer than 600 separate relevant questions. We did this for you. And, it is not always easy. AIMR often moves questions from one Topic to another when it reuses them and frequently changes the wording in ways, which do not change the substance but do make it difficult to recognize duplicates. Where Readings have changed, we have updated the terminology and have even provided the answers to some of the older questions. This is most important in Ethics, where the Standards of Practice have been completely revised. We have emphasized quality over quantity. We think you will agree that less is more while preparing for these exams.


Q: Do you have any other products for the exams, like notes or flash cards?

A: Yes, keep in mind that our program is a very efficient tool that works in conjunction with the textbook readings, seminars, notes, and other study aids. Additional products are flash cards and the Candidates Guide to Learning Outcome Statements.


Q: Can you tell me about the CFA® exam?

A: The CFA® Designation is obtained within seven (7) years with three (3) exams. CFA® Level 1, CFA® Level 2, and CFA® Level 3. Each CFA® Exam level must be taken consecutively. A candidate cannot sit for CFA® Level two until they have passed CFA® Level one. If any CFA® Level Exam is failed, that level must be repeated before the candidate can sit for the next level exam. Level 1 is offered in June, and December of each year. Level 2 and level 3 exams are offered in June only. All three Exams are given worldwide at specific locations on the same day.


Q: Will it run on my computer?

A: ExamSaver Software will run on just about any PC that has Windows and a CD-ROM drive.


Q: Although the 2004 Sample Exam provided by AIMR consists of only 240 questions, your Simulated Exams have 260. Why do you ask us to answer more questions in the same amount of time?

A: Some of the earlier AIMR exams contained more than 240 questions and consequently allowed less time per question. Although these times vary from question to question, the weighted average is 83 seconds (resulting in 260 questions) rather than 90 seconds (240 questions).

We think that our 260-question exam is more likely to represent the time pressure that you will face on the actual exam.


Q: Do you have any products for the CFA® Level II and Level III Exams?

A: Yes, all three levels are available.


Q: What is the return policy?
